Julia Wondrack, M.A. (she/her)

Therapist

Julia is a warm, personable, and grounded Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about creating meaningful, collaborative, and healing relationships with her clients. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marist University and has experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including specialized work in substance use counseling. Julia is known for her ability to meet clients exactly where they are, offering compassionate support while gently encouraging growth, insight, and lasting change.

Her therapeutic style is rooted in a person-centered, holistic approach, blending evidence-based techniques with empathy, flexibility, and genuine curiosity. Julia often incorporates Motivational Interviewing, a strengths-based modality that empowers clients to reconnect with their values, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful goals. She works from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, always tailoring her approach to fit each client’s unique experiences, needs, and pace.

While Julia’s background has primarily focused on working with adults, she is expanding her practice to include children, adolescents, and couples, guided by the belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to feel seen, heard, and understood. She brings a calm, steady presence to each session and is deeply committed to helping clients reconnect with their inner resilience and sense of self. Julia is particularly passionate about supporting clients through life transitions, identity exploration, emotional regulation, and developing a stronger, more compassionate relationship with themselves.

Outside of the therapy room, Julia finds joy in travel, exploring new places, and being near the water. She loves cozy coffee shops, live music, and scrapbooking the little moments. You’ll often find her watching a great TV series, rooting for the Buffalo Bills, or taking a workout class with an uplifting playlist.
